At Llebroc Marine Seating, we blend artistry with innovation to create marine seating that stands apart. Our commitment to quality is evident in every stitch, with professional marine upholsterers bringing decades of experience to every project. From the selection of marine-grade materials to our meticulous upholstery skills and advanced construction techniques, we ensure each seat is a testament to durability, safety, and unparalleled comfort.
Our design process begins with comprehensive meetings between Llebroc’s team and the OEM and design teams of the boat manufacturer. With over 25 years of experience, we engage in a collaborative effort to exchange plans and ideas, tailoring a comprehensive upholstery plan to each unique boat project. Depending on the project's specifics, we may work with 3D models and boat prints provided by the customer or employ 3D scanning technology and traditional template patterns to accurately template seating surfaces.
Once the project’s scope is defined, our engineering and design teams proceed to develop detailed prints and models for every component of the seating package. Our seasoned expertise guides the structural design of the framework and the selection of substrates and foam, ensuring an optimal balance of support, comfort, and durability. Utilizing 3D modeling and dedicated design software, we craft patterns and seam locations that promise the best fit and enduring quality.
Following the meticulous design phase, prototypes and first articles are crafted for the boat builders’ review, focusing on fit, function, and aesthetics. These prototypes are installed on the boats, allowing both Llebroc and the OEM designers to assess critical fit criteria, including attachments and seam alignment, and make any necessary adjustments until every aspect of the seat and cushion receives approval for production.
Concurrently with the inspection process, our manufacturing team initiates the planning of construction methods and outlines the production and quality control (QC) requirements essential for maintaining consistency in mass production. This phase culminates in the completion and finalization of the “Boat Upholstery Kit” documentation, encompassing Bills of Materials (BOMs), prints, work instructions, and quality checklists.
The final preparatory step involves conducting New Project Walk-Throughs, which introduce department leaders to the new project, highlighting specific nuances and focus areas. This crucial meeting allows for an open exchange of questions and sets clear expectations, reinforcing our collective commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
At the core of Llebroc Marine Seating's unparalleled comfort and enduring quality is our foam recipe. Understanding that true comfort and support are not one-size-fits-all, we meticulously select and combine multiple thicknesses and densities of foam for each seat we design. This tailored approach allows us to engineer seats that not only provide the ultimate in comfort but also stand the test of time against the harsh marine environment. It's this careful balance of softness for comfort and firmness for durability that sets our seating apart, ensuring each journey is as comfortable as the last. Our innovative foam combinations are the secret ingredient in crafting the luxurious seating experience that Llebroc is known for.
At Llebroc Marine Seating, each seat is a product of meticulous craftsmanship and advanced technology. We leverage computer-operated machinery to ensure unparalleled consistency in every cut, weld, and stitch, laying the groundwork for perfection. Alongside this precision, our highly trained engineers, builders, and tailors—masters in their craft—infuse each seat with a level of quality that machines alone cannot achieve.
This blend of technology and human touch guarantees that every seat not only meets but exceeds the highest standards of quality, ensuring that every product we deliver is a testament to our dedication to excellence.
At Llebroc Marine Seating, we prioritize the highest grade materials, including dense, enduring foam, marine-grade vinyl, stainless steel, fiberglass, and durable thread, to fulfill your design, comfort, and durability expectations. Trust us to bring your designs to life with materials that guarantee unmatched quality and longevity.
Bolster cushions provide extra comfort and support for boaters while leaning against the coaming or gunwale. While seemingly simple, the design requires proper foam selection, critical venting, and drying elements, as well as sturdy mounting configurations.
Aft seating should offer the smoothest ride for passengers as well as a comfortable seating and fishing experience. Strong substrates, solid construction and seam designs are critical to ensure both comfort and durability for the most active part of the boat.
Helm chairs are the cornerstone of seating design which must offer both comfort and control in various positions for extended periods. Engineered framework, crafted and proven foam structures, and meticulous construction are critical to building a helm seat that can withstand the toughest waters.
Whether cruising or sunbathing, the lounge seat is one of the most coveted seats on the boat. The typically larger size cushion requires a strong focus on fit, comfort, style, and durability. Our experience and skillset is a key factor in designing lounge seating that showcase the boat.
Bow seating requires a perfect fit and design. Not only to offer the perfect seating arrangement, but also to withstand constant sun and saltwater exposure. Solid substrates, multi-foam construction, and critical stitching tolerances are key to durable bow seating design.
